Hooker Furniture - Driftwood Upholstered Side Chair - 6820-75512-85

Gatherings have a way of lingering when the dining room feels warm, comfortable, and beautifully layered. The Driftwood Upholstered Side Chair in the Worn Saddle finish brings that atmosphere to the table with a warm brown wood frame inspired by the burnished character of supple leather and hand tooled heirlooms. Beige performance fabric softens the seat and back, while natural knots, worm holes, and a dry distressed surface give the wood the feeling of a piece with history. Wood legs connected by stretchers create a classic foundation that feels substantial without becoming formal. Against the warmth of the Worn Saddle finish, the neutral upholstery introduces a sophisticated contrast while offering the durability and ease of performance fabric for everyday dining. Surrounding a Driftwood dining table, these chairs help create the kind of room that seems to have come together naturally over years of living. Their blend of tailored comfort and time softened character sets a gracious stage for shared meals, celebrations, and conversations that continue long after dinner is finished.

• Finish Construction:Hooker Furniture utilizes a multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and color richness and durability to our finishes. Through hand-craftsmanship such as rubbing and padding, our finishes feel as good as they look, with a smoothness that is delightful to the touch.
• Frame Construction:Hooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
