Hooker Furniture - Driftwood Upholstered Arm Chair - 6820-75400-85

Warmth around the dining table comes as much from the atmosphere of the room as the people gathered within it. The Driftwood Upholstered Arm Chair in the Worn Saddle finish adds to that inviting spirit with a warm brown wood frame inspired by the burnished beauty of supple leather and hand tooled heirlooms. Beige performance fabric softens the seat and back, while open wood arms and an open back create a graceful silhouette with a relaxed sense of refinement. Generously proportioned arms invite guests to settle in comfortably, while the neutral upholstery provides a sophisticated counterpoint to the warmth of the wood. Performance fabric brings practical ease to the design, making its tailored elegance equally appropriate for everyday meals and special occasions. At the head of any Driftwood dining table, the chair adds a gracious sense of distinction while remaining true to the collection’s comfortably collected character. It creates the kind of seat that encourages another course, another conversation, and a little more time spent together.

• Finish Construction:Hooker Furniture utilizes a multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and color richness and durability to our finishes. Through hand-craftsmanship such as rubbing and padding, our finishes feel as good as they look, with a smoothness that is delightful to the touch.
• Frame Construction:Hooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
