So, you’ve purchased and received your piece of furniture from AFA Stores, but you don’t want to keep it. WHAT?!? Like everyone else, our customers have the rights to change their minds. We don’t want you keeping something that you don’t want, and have included a set of guidelines for you below to help you get started with your return.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT TAKE CANCELLATIONS ON ORDERS THAT ARE IN TRANSIT AND SHIPPED FROM THE WAREHOUSE. SHIPPED ORDERS THAT ARE CANCELLED IN TRANSIT FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN DAMAGE WILL INCUR A 10% RESTOCKING FEE AND THE COST OF RETURN SHIPPING

AFA STORES RESERVES THE RIGHT TO FIRST REPLACE OR REPAIR ANYTHING DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE. IF A REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR CANNOT BE ACCOMPLISHED DUE TO BACKORDER A REFUND MAY BE ISSUED
What if I receive my shipment and I don’t like it?

What? You don’t like it? We’ll stop our questioning and hope that you simply had a bit of buyer’s remorse…which we totally understand. Just give us a call at 855-686-3189 or email us at support@afastores.com. Once a return request is authorized by customer service, we will email you a return authorization number. Please note that returns without an authorization number will be refused. Sorry! It’s just policy! You must ship your item back within 30 days to qualify for a refund. We do charge a 10% restocking fee and cost of return shipping with AFA Stores carriers. ALL RETURNS MUST INCLUDE ORIGINAL PACKAGING. NOTE THAT ORDERS CANCELLED AFTER THEY HAVE SHIPPED WILL INCUR THE SAME RETURN SHIPPING AND 10% RESTOCKING. ADDITIONALLY IF AN ITEM YOU ORDER DOES NOT FIT INTO YOUR ENTRYWAY, OR IN A PART OF THE HOME TO GET IT TO ITS DESIRED LOCATION WE WOULD CHARGE RETURN SHIPPING AND THE SAME 10% RESTOCKING FEE. EACH ITEM HAS SPECIFIC DIMENSIONS TO AVOID THIS BEING AN ISSUE


What if I get my furniture and it’s damaged?

We offer you a million apologies, but hey, sometimes things just happen for no good reason. Whether it was an error on our part or the consequence of your delivery man’s rally car racing dreams, we do accept items that are defective or damaged and will send a replacement or refund if it the product cannot be fixed. Please do one of the following:
A. Refuse the item and notate on the paperwork that your order was damaged and hand the paperwork back to the driver.

B. Accept the item, and take close-up shots of the defective furniture and email them back to us at support@afastores.com. (Just please don’t confuse them with the other bedroom furniture shots you have on your computer.) We’ll take a look and determine if we need to send a replacement piece or issue a full refund. ALL RETURNS MUST COME WITH COMPLETE ORIGINAL PACKAGING REGARDLESS OF REASON FOR THE RETURN Please note that all shipping-related or product related issues must be claimed within 24 hours of receiving your shipment. In other words, don’t be a couch potato (even if it is a comfy couch). PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU ACCEPT THE DAMAGED ITEM(s) IT MUST BE NOTATED ON THE DELIVERY PAPERWORK THAT THE ITEMS WERE DAMAGED. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD RESULT IN AN INABILITY TO PROVIDE FULL CREDIT

Fine print that you really shouldn’t ignore…
Returned products must come back in original condition and packaging. In the circumstance that we receive a return that shows obvious signs of wear and use (shame on you!), additional fees may be applied. We also cannot accept returns on modified or assembled merchandise.
